Independent probe into tusker Kawanthissa’s death

An independent investigation will be conducted into the death of iconic tusker Kawanthissa to determine whether any errors occurred during its treatment or whether the elephant was deliberately harmed, Environment Minister Dr. Dammika Patabendi said.
